Profhilo

Profhilo is best described as a bio-remodelling agent . It is made of hyaluronic acid like other dermal fillers but made in a way that it does not stay in one place but spreads beneath the skin forming a very thin layer that holds onto water. By holding on to water, by exciting production of elastin and collagen, it will provide the skin with glow, help tighten and beneficially affect fine lines. The treatment takes less than 10 minutes and consists of 10 injections beneath the skin. These injections put a small mount of Hyaluronic Acid beneath the skin and creates a bump effect, almost like a bee sting but goes down over a period of 6 – 24 hours.

The treatment is a little painful but only for a few seconds and does not need anaesthetic.

The treatment plan consists of an initial session for the injection of profhilo, a repeat in 4 weeks’ time and then repeated either 3 monthly or 6 monthly thereafter.
