Botulinum toxin injections are more commonly known as Botox ®. These injections into the muscles of expression in the face will reduce the strength of contraction of those muscles and thereby reducing the skin creases they create. These are the skin creases that you can see most commonly in areas such as the forehead, the brow, and the eye area.

We offer many non-injectable anti-wrinkle treatment alternatives that can be discussed at consultation.

In Extensa Clinic we mainly use Botox (reg mark) by Allergan, due to the greater amount of clinical evidence and safety profile data available. We also have other anti-wrinkle injectables available for those patients that experience a drop in efficacy due to resistance.
